Welcome to The Planner Play Kit for 4-year olds

As your child nears 5, their awareness of the world is growing—and with it, their ability to understand how things work and in what order. Planning is an important strategy skill that helps children set and reach their goals.

The Planner Play Kit builds on this awareness by encouraging your child to practise thinking ahead. In Rover Route, for example, your child must guide a rover around obstacles to collect a gemstone and return it safely. This playful challenge helps them break tasks down into sequenced steps.

Understanding time is another skill children need to plan ahead, but time can be tricky and abstract. The Plan & Prepare Clock is a real working clock that comes with bars showing 5-, 10-, and 15-minute segments. These bars give your child a visual way to track how time passes.

The Play Guide includes helpful tips to support your child in predicting outcomes and managing time. It also offers expert-backed activity ideas using everyday materials to keep learning fun as your child transitions to age 5.
